Scott Robertson
As President & Managing Partner, Scott is the primary executive responsible for overall strategy, growth, client success, team performance, and financial results. Scott serves as the visionary leader and operational driver for both Fit Capital and Agri Fit Solutions. The companies operate as a lean, high-touch team that combines deep banking expertise with hands-on industry knowledge and the creative ingenuity to assist clients with all their financial needs.
Scott brings nearly two decades of executive-level experience in commercial, M & A, agriculture banking and brokerage.
Over the course of his career, Scott has structured and placed well over $2 billion in debt financing, with a particular emphasis on agriculture. In the last two years alone, he has placed approximately $350 million in farm lending for primary producers, including grain operations, cow-calf businesses, and feedlots.
Scott leads origination and structuring of complex transactions spanning farm acquisitions and expansions, equipment and crop-input financing, working capital and operating lines, bridge facilities, land sale-leasebacks, joint ventures, and equity partnerships. He maintains an extensive network of executive-level relationships at Canada’s Big 5 banks, Schedule I institutions, credit unions, and private lenders, and uses that network to put clients in the strongest position to achieve sustained success.
As a farmland owner and operator of more than 2,500 acres across Alberta and Saskatchewan, Scott brings authentic, operator-level perspective to every engagement. Clients rely on him as a trusted advisor who handles the financial complexity of the business so they can stay focused on production. He is known for structures that optimize cash flow, equity, and profitability—and for a culture of collaboration, ethics, and creative problem-solving across the team.
Away from the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and friends at his cabin, coaching his daughter’s soccer team and traveling with family.
